Would you pay $100 for a used 17" Sony LCD monitor?

I am in search of a pre-owned 17" LCD monitor because I can't afford a new one.

Depends on the native resolution and the maximum refresh rate.
If it's only 800x600 at 60Mhz then no way.
ask if you could bring it down to $70-80

You can get a brand new 19" widescreen for $175. Talk him down to $70-$75.
