Videos Card problems!?

It depends. If your 300W power supply unit (PSU) has a strong +12V rail (>15 amps) and you do not have any additional peripherals there, the video card may work. BUT then you could be running that PSU HOT at full load (esp. the +12V rail).
It would be better to get a higher rated PSU. Dual +12V rail would be best. Do not just rely on minimum PSU recommendation so that you do not run at or near full load. Get a bigger PSU. It runs cooler, lasts longer and leaves you w/ elbow room for future upgrades
Yeah they usually rate pretty conservative on that one...they have to assume you have multiple hard drives, fans, and other peripherals running at the same time. It also matters if it is a quality power supply , some over the counter ones are much more stable at a lower rating then a bargain bin one.
I have actually done this myself with no problems at all but if it suddenly turns off and reboots on its own in the middle of a game then you will have to upgrade.
