Hi, it' s awesome. The windows that you open are like glass and the search function is real handy to find songs in your com that you downloaded and do not know where you put it or programs. The programs like microsoft office work real well too. It is in a totally different league from the previous windows, and about bugs, i haven' t encountered any of those glitches.
What i'm saying is go get it and good luck.
Use Vista if you're planning to buy a new PC, otherwise, it's better to wait a bit longer for the OS to mature.
Coolwise, it is cool in many ways... Now if only the rest of your PC and software could catch up...

Looks cool, but im not sure about performance... they say that its got too many bugs.. just wait until they make patches, and then, yes, windows vista would be cool.
if you want to have problems with every software you own - if you only want about half of them to work - if you want to spend all your time saying " yes do this" to the machine and if you want a system that is no faster - makes it own decisions no matter how often you try and change it and acts up all the time - then yeah "its cool" stick to xp for awhile longer pat

to tell you honesty it sucks... i upgraded my computer to vista and it keeps giving me trouble... so i just roll it back to windows XP again... maybe wait a year or so.
if ur talking about performance it is great compatibale with more software. The visual aspect is great also it has a compact look. It is easy to use.
Ya its graphics and display n all are superb.
But it requires too much of ram.
For software support u can have a comp and install both xp and vista and use which ever.
If u are thinking only of looks. then u can download a brico pack from the net it will make ur display much better.
