I'd like to reformat my external hardrive...currently it's formatted to mac. How do I go about doing that?

I'm completely computer illiterate. I'd like to have this thing freed up so I can put my music and school files on it and then eventually reformat my laptop.

i think mac is fat32 so it should work on pc ... should anyway ... but you should be able to click on its properties and format it ..
