Connecting TV to PC?

I have recently bought a new tv, and it says that it can be used as a pc monitor but my computer cable does not fit the tv and the tv did not come with the cable to connect them.
What cable do i need and where can i get it from?
Is there anything else i need for it to work?

Answer:
You PC probably has a VGA connector and the TV has a DVI. You need a vga to dvi adaptor.

Or a new video card that supports DVI. It will depend on what your computer supports but I would start by looking at the nVidia AGP cards.

You need AV for the pc tv out to a scart end for the tv in.. So a scart lead thats got the av's on the end of it.
It is probably a DVI connector. If your PC doesn't have a DVI output, you can either buy a new video card or a DVI to VGA or vice-versa adapter. Just a couple bucks on ebay.
buy a video card which has an AV tv out.
depending on what type of connection u have on tv and pc you should b able to hook them up with a lead from your local maplins store but as i dont know what connections were talking about its hard to say which will do the job take a note an take them to maplins or look in argos pc world etc
if pc and tv both have rca connectors you can use them
