My usb drive does not recognize anything. it used to work to work but now it's it's not.?

Please tell me what should i do now. it does not recognize my mp3 player, flash drive.

Answer:
control panel/system/hardware/device manager. if it has a problem there, uninstall it and reinstall
Try System Restore to a date when all was good.
Start >All Programs >Accessories >System Tools

Using System Restore too many times can cause
more harm than good. After doing a restore
that does not fix a problem, then UNDO the
Restoration, and try another restore point, or
just do the UNDO.
