Try getting a new mouse. You can get them from 5-10 dollars or more if you want a high quality mouse. Sounds like your mouse just crapped out to me. Time to get a new one. Hope I helped
if it's a balled mouse, then it might be the rollers inside the mouse that might be either mearly dirty or the springs that worn out. if the rollers are mearly dirty, you can clean them up, but if it's a spring there's really nothing you can do to get the mouse working again
Most likely you have an optical mouse with the little red light on the bottom. If there is no little red light, the batteries went dead. You replace them by taking out the teeny weeny little philips screws.
