Anyone tell me how many KB's are in a GB?
Answer:
1 gigabyte = 1,048,576 kilobytes
Us geeks think there are1024 but some mfgrs call 1000M in a G
1048576 KB = 1 GB.
1,000KB (kilobytes) = 1MB(megabytes)
1,000MB = 1GB (gigabytes)
1,000,000KB = 1GB
technically it's really 1024 instead of 1000, but the numbers above are how things are generally referred to.
in computer term,
1K = 1024Byte
1M = 1024K
1G = 1024M
so 1G = 1024K * 1024K
do the math yourself, heehee :-)
1KB = 9.5GB.
