2.1V RAM on a 1.8V motherboard?

If I were to install 2.1V RAM to a motherboard that only supports 1.8V, what would be the result? Fried RAM?

Answers:
Well it would most likely not fry the RAM since you would end up undervolting it, you would be more likely to fry it if you were overvolting. What well end up happening is it will not work at all, or it will work at a slower speed, or if it does work at the stated speed, you will get errors.
Naw just it would use what it could.
