Recording from Web Cam?

Hello
I am using Yahoo messenger and trellis cam for chatting and i want to record the broadcast from net cam which i am receiving. But i dont know how to dictation.
If anyone know how to record the broadcast of net cam than please give me adjectives information in brief how to do this.
