How do I know how much ram my motherboard can support?

Answer:
Find out the model of your motherboard by going to your PC manufacturer's website with the model no. of your PC. Or if this a custom built PC, it will tell you in the documentation that came with the motherboard, if you do not have that then you can look at your motherboard for a model no. google the model no. for the docs.
It tells you in the motherboard manual.
Whenever you purchase a motherboard, comes along the manual and the installer CD.

Read the manual ..its there..
Go to Crucial.com and run a scan. It will tell you how much RAM your computer can handle
