Why are my headphones so quite yet my speakers are loud?

Answer:
maybe because of the headphones rated impedence ...
Because your speakers have a built-in amplifier - they're getting sound from the PC, adding power from the power cord, resulting in loud music.
Are you attatching your headphones from the front of your computer? Because sometime the front output is quieter than the one in the rear. Usually you can correct this in the sound pannel.
