Headphone and Speaker Help?
I have 2 sockets forr Headfone and mic in front of my CPS. But mic is not working. Please Help me
Answer:
So just plug the headfones in the front and the mic in the back. Try to update the driver for the sound card, and check the settings for them in Control Panel. Play around there with the sound engines and settings. Test them. And I hope this helps and you come right. O and if you can see or know what sound card it is, check out the manual and specs online.
Try using a spliter on the headphone jack!
In order to ensure that the headphone are not receiving too much power, the jacks check to see which plugs are being used. Once one is accessed, it takes the master power position & draws the energy. If you are having trouble with the mic, you might want to check the mic volume & sensitivity on your settings board. The three plugs will not work together but the mic & any combo of headphones/speaker will work!
Your problem is the switches in the mounted sockets.
When the plugs are inserted they automatically switch other circuits. they are factory made to do that.
You must use external wiring to accomplish what you need.
Example open the speaker box and add a jack to it for the earphones, or explain it to a repair place and have it done.
Really it's a simple 1/2 hour project.....
Hi, Well the problem here is not with installation, its with your sound card, you mentioned three sockets, in these type of sound cards (analog devices) you have the privilege to connect either "speakers and mic" OR "head phones and mic" , but not both at the same time. If you cannot compensate on this then you will have have to upgrade to a higher sound card which has this ability to allow both speakers and head-phones at the same time.
