On lime wire how do i transport songs to my thumb drive?

Everytime i try to it says the songs are write protected. how do i do it? i need helpp!

Answer:
explore to your safe file copy your song then paste to your thumbdrive. you cannot cut and paste it bcoz in the same time other people are downloading the song...but if you want to just disconnect from internet.
