Can i use 2 sound cards at once?

useing 2 sound cards

Answer:
At one time I had 4 sound cards installed in a PC. If your using a MIDI Sequencing program, you should be able to. The only limits would be the slots you have available and the IRQ's (although with 2000 and above it doesn't matter much anymore).

Using more than 1 sound card is dependant on the software. So unless you have a game or just Windows, it'll only use one at a time depending on which you have set for the default sound device. Sound applications will be able to use more than one if you have more than one installed (again, like a MIDI sequencer or a digital sound editing software).
You can't, and there is no need.
The most modern FX series can by itself handle 96 sound sources. So if you have for example, two weak ones you can't use them at once, and you won't for a long time.
