X1950Pro VS 8600GTS??? Whats better?

Me 2 i am dealing with this question.After searching sites and asking others I could say that performance wise the x1950pro is clearly more powerful then 8600gts.The 8600gts is equivalent to the 7600gs but with direct x 10.The x1950pro is more powerful then 7900gs and sometimes can keep up with the 7900gt.If you do not have windows vista and are not planning to buy one there is no good reason to buy the 8600gts because youneed vista to be able to use dx10.And plus as soon as Directx 10 games will be popular and when nearly every gamer should have a dx10 video cards there will be new dx10 graphic cards and the geforce 8 series vid cards will go down in price.I decided to go with radeon x1950pro because i do not have vista and dont want to buy it.
Probably i am going to change to a dx10 video card in 2-3 years.So like I said I would go with radeon x1950pro and wait a couple of years when 8800gts will be very cheap.Good Luck.
