USB Stick problems?

Look for PC Inspector File Recovery,its freeware and it will find your lost files for you.Used it on my stick the other day to find an mp3 file i deleted by mistake.
Sounds like it's time for a new one.
if your usb stick is too old already or if you've copy, move, delete, run files from your stick lots of times alread, then it must have reach the read/write cycle of your usb stick. then its dead. i dont know if it can be fix on any computer repair shop. i doubt
I used to believe that with no moving parts that they would go on forever. I've now come across a number of people for whom they've stopped working.
They just fail. If you have vital data on it then you may need to go to a recovery specialist.

jus try formating if the problem remains then get a new one.

I know this sounds silly, but Ive seen people guilty of this, including me - is there a write-protective lock on it? Thats like asking "have you checked the switch at the socket?" for your pc, but it's a start. Failing that, check that your stick is formatted to be compatible with the pc's you use it on. You can do this I think by going into control panel, or sometimes a window comes up when you plug it in and prompts you to do this. They are pretty robust little things, mine's been through the washing machine on a 60 degree cycle and still works perfectly. Keep trying.
