The correct type of memory you should buy is 1024
MB(same as 1GB) PC2-4200 DDR2 SD RAM 533MHz Memory.
I recommend the Centon brand wich is cheaper than the leading brands and works great.
Check out Circuit City. They usually have very good prices on RAM. And it isn't that generic junk that sometimes works or it doesn't work. Newegg.com might have some deals too. Stick to name brands to eliminate problems.
Well, with most laptops you can't really upgrade anything. Most of the things, like RAM, are integrated directly into the motherboard. It's that way with MOST models...
Though, I must say, good on you for looking at the computer-specific sites/stores, not just the "generic" ones that'll mess you over.
