Compro U500 and Vista?

Hi guys,
I have Vista Home Premium on my laptop, and I have a compro u500 usb tv tuner, I downloaded the updated Vista Drivers and installed them, but every time I plug in the tuner, it says looking for drivers on the bottom right hand side, and I get blue screen of death. Then it restarts, and if I dont take out tv tuner stick, it will do this over and over.

I know that these drivers work, as I know a person who got it working successfuly, I just dont know what im doing wrong. Maybe the problem is in Vista trying to find the right drivers, I think that's causing it to crash. Does someone now how to turn that feature off ?

Answer:
I'd try removing the card. Then UNinstall ANY drivers AND software associated with the card.

SHUTDOWN the computer (NOT RESTART) wait at least 2-3 minutes BEFORE restarting.

Now install the drivers and software for the TV card.

Shutdown computer again when done.

Install the TV card.

Hopefully Windows will find the TV card and install the drivers
