no not in my opinion .. im surprized carbon runs on it ... throw oblivion on there or dark messiah .. or test drive unlimited and i think it will be no-go ..

I heard that the new Ghost - Advanced War Figher (not positive about the name) needs a gig of ram just to load.
I have a gig and run Doom 3, Quake 4, C&C 3 with out problems.

most of todays games require alot of power and compontents to play them, with your current setup the games would run but only on the lowest settings and it would still be kinda chopy, I would reccomend getting atleast a x1650 radeon video card and another gig of ram and you should be good.
u have a pretty descent system.To play high end games u need a good graphic card and more amount of ram.Processor of 1.5ghz is more than sufficient for any games.
U need to play doom 3 or half life 2 to see whether your card is good or not because these games are used in benchmarks to test the graphic cards .
Atleast 1gb of RAM is a must for smooth play.
