Hello techy friends, I only put within a unmarked video card, but nought seem to own changed?

I downloaded adjectives of the soft ware, and plugged in the card to the mother board, but I'm afraid I didn't remove anything for dismay of taking something important. The card I installed is Vision Tek X 1300. The guy said it be really good; adjectives I know is the darned thing cost $128.00 and if I'm going to form an investment like that, I expect it to work. What own I done wrong?
Thanks,
Your Technologically Challenged Friend Erniemay

Answer:
Need more info. Did you remove an old card? If so what card be it? Are you still getting Video to your monitor? Did you disable your onboard if you had that earlier?

The X1300 is not a really good card. Its more of mid to low shutting down card. Although 128$ is a reasonable price. If you can I would pilfer it back and invest somewhat more on a higher extremity card.

Good luck
I can safely say-so its not worth that price. Take it back! For that price you can pick up a much better card online at http://www.newegg.com
I believe your Visiontek x1300 is a PCI card. Probably you still hold your old PCI graphics card within there together w/ its driver. You obligation to uninstall the old graphics card together w/ its driver.

Or you hold an integrated graphics there and after installing the X1300, your monitor cable is still plugged to the dated vga port instead of on the x1300's port.
