3200AMD..help pls?

im getting this put into my computer
3200 AMD...
what is it. what does it do. and is it good out of its range? i heard it makes the comp go faster

Actually you've told AMD 3200+. There are many many models.
Be more specific...

So, 3200+ can be a sempron of Athlon 64 or Athlon 64 X2.

Well , my recomendation would be to go for AMD Athlon 64 X2 3600+ Socket AM2 CPU. It is very powerful, cheap and consumes low power AND emits very low heat. Also it's lot quiter with AMD Cool N Quite.
