Belkin Easy Transfer Cable and windows 2000?

will the Belkin Easy Transfer Cable work on :
transfering data from a windows 2000 desktop to a vista laptop?

Answers:
Nope. According to the cable's tech specs, it'll only work with XP and Vista.

If both of your computers have network cards, I suggest you get a crossover Ethernet cable, set up a direct cable connection within Windows, and do your transfer that way. There's no additional software to buy and the crossover cable will be cheaper than Belkin's Easy Transfer Cable.
