Can u answer my computer tower ? ?

My USB port on my tower seem to be broke or something, my ipod or digi cam will not connect to the computer so I am assuming its the USB plug in constituent. My ? is can i take that apart and capture a repairment for just the USB port or do I inevitability a whole different tower?

Answer:
no sweetie, you don't need a total new tower :)

You can attain them replaced, but I'm sure you have another USB port surrounded by the back where on earth all the things plug contained by, right? Well you can get a USB hub, beside 2-4 extra USB ports... basically you plug it into a working USB port and you suddenly enjoy more than one.
Providing you have expansion slots you can pick up a USB card for around lb8
you can probably receive it fixed, or buy a cheap USB pci board that you can plug into the computer and use the extra ports on that.
you can try to reload the drivers if you have any.
a short time ago google for usb driver thats what i did.
if the usb is dead next all you hold to do is change out the ubs slots.
If it does not recognise USB connections, may be the USB hubs are not connected from the inside to the Mother board, you can do this by looking at the mother board almanac, or search for one online, it will give an account you how to connect them, or any hardware maintenance will do that. But you should not replace the intact tower.
Your good, lately get one of theese:
