USB adaptor?

What sort of USB adaptor do I necessitate so that I can use my Advent QC430 wirelessly. I use Windows Vista and the router I have is a Netgear RangeMax. It say There is an RT73 USB card option surrounded by device manager, but no card comes along next to the computer.

Answer:
If your computer doesn't have a wireless card you can buy a wireless USB adaptor for going on for lb20 that you can just plug into a USB port. They put up for sale them in loads of places, try Argos.
Hello,

(ANS) Most computers sold very soon a days come with USB ports built into the apparatus (either on the front or back of the machine). There are x2 types of USB ports these are:- USB altered copy 1.0 & USB version 2.0 the big difference between the two types is bandwidth USB 1 simply allows data transfers of nearly 12megs whilst USB 2 is about x40 times faster.

**NOTE:- lofty speed USB devices can still be used in a slower USB 1 port's but clearly wont work as fast as they are practised of.

**Vica Versa too, slower or older USB devices can be plugged into USB 2 port's but wont work as hurriedly as the port is capable of.

**My guess (if I've buried your question correctly) is that what you call for is a USB 2 type (compatible) wireless network card or wireless network dongle. This would allow your machine to communicate beside your wireless router.

**It could also be that the computer already has a USB wireless card physically installed but what your missing are the device drivers to get the hardware work with your wireless router? Meaning you entail drivers for the RT73 USB card. You need to find out who make the RT73 card & search for device drivers that meeting this.

**The other problem is Vista itself, many problems next to Vista are down to the lack of device drivers to engender hardware work with this hottest version of window. You may find drivers for the above for XP but NOT vista?

**Further more you need device drivers that are digitally signed because both XP & vista require digitally signed drivers. Non signed drivers can & will make happen system instability so your machine is more probable to crash as a result.

Hope this helps?
