I just bought a 18X LG DVD burner but have not installed it yet. I made the mistake of buying 8X blank dvd's instead of 16X. Will my DVD burner be able to burn information to those disks at 16X speed?
Answer:
Not really. It's ideal to burn 8x discs at 8x speed or slower.
(Though it is possible to burn a disc faster than it says on the label, you'll likely get some errors on the disc!)
Should be able to. You might want to just take the cds back and exchange them to be safe.
No...that is why dee dee dee...they're rated 8x.
