What's a good price range for upgrading my five year old desktop's video card?

i want to play some online games (guildwars!) without my computer lagging like crazy. about how much should i pay for a video card that can play guildwars/ wow? plz help!

The problem may be more then your video card like what processor do you have I'd expect a pentium 4 and 512MB-1GB RAM.

If you don't have that it's not your video card.

But as for video card for a good one expect it to be about 200-300 bucks anything less then 200 will be garbage in most cases.
