Could i put this video card in my computer?

i have a hp pavilion a6009n with ddr2 memory.my question is my computer has a 16x pci slot and the card i want just says pci and its ddr memory.is it ok to have ddr card for a mobo that uses dd2 for memory and will it work in the pci 16x slot even though the card says its just pci?

Answer:
Memory will NOT be the issue, as one said, one is system memory, one is video memory. Nothing to do with each other. Pas for a PCI card, it will DOWNGRADE the system. Meaning your on-board video is more likely superior to the old outdated pci video cards.

Seems to have a x16 pci-express slot, you should get a pci-express card.

Ok first which card are you trying to install and second I think your confusing the ddr memory. Your pc uses ddr2 for system memory and video cards have thier own memory. Video cards only come in AGP which is old and PCI x16.
I would really need to know which card your planning to put in!
Basically you can install a pci video card in your pc if you go with Nvidia series 8600 and below or Ati 2600 and below. Mainly due to your power supply.
should work
