Blank cd?? please help?
Answers:
Some special ones can hold up to 870 MB, but they are fairly rare, and your burner may not be capable of burning them.
cd = 700 mb max.dvd's = anywhere from 2-4 GB
quick answer: NO
depending on what you want to put on the CD, there are programs that compress files to let you burn more data than normal.
There are dual sided cd-r discs, but there really isn't any higher than 700 mb. If you need more space, get a DVD +/- DL super multi recorder and get DVD-Rs.
If you're looking for like 8 gigs, you need DVD-R Dual-Layer or Dual-Side.
There are 800mb CD's now, but not many companies making them.

700mb is now standard.
there are 800mb cd media everywhere, google it...
You can also overburn if your optical drive supports it (plextor can typically fit 1gb onto a normal cd)
