Wierd USB flash drive problem?

OK, I have a rundisk USB 2.0 2gb flash drive. when i plug it in, it registers i have plugged it in and it shows up on the safely remove hardware list. however, when i go into my computer, it isn't displayed as device with removeable storage, it is displayed as a network drive. why is this and how do i fix it?

Answer:
your computer classifies your flash drive by what it has on it so if you have a os on it it will be classified as a nother disk drive like the c:/ drive so you must have something to do with the internet on it
