Should I Get a New Computer or basically fix it?

Four years isn't exceptionally old at adjectives. Try getting it fixed, and maybe upgrade your graphics card if it isn't up to WoW and Oblivion's system requirements.
My family's PC is from 2000 and beside anti-virus software and regular maintenance (emptying impermanent files, defragmenting) it, while slow compared to newer computers, runs just fine overall.
You can rescue some money by just fixing/upgrading the computer you already enjoy.
If it's 2003, you should probably just take it fixed. Take it to Geek Squad and there's also sometimes cheap computer repair places at the flea markets. Getting a topical computer is not worth it if you're just going to mess it up resembling the first one.
It's 4 years old -- if you want to play games (and savour them with wearing clothes performance), you probably should consider a new system.
GET A NEW COMPUTER. Check contained by with the Dell site, they still vend XPs and Dells are awesome with gaming and entertainment. 'Googling' merely told me that the original spec's for this 'puter, is a Pentium4, 2.8GHz cpu, 512 DDR knock against, and a 120G HD. The Amazon site also had a couple of reviews that said Hp puts a bunch of programs on, that slow the computer down considerably, and recommend deleting them,(unnecessary unwanted items!) This reviewer also said to make sure you carry the recovery disks, as the registry get corrupted quite closely. Just looking at these original spec's, I can explain to you that another stick of 512 DDR ram will brighten up your world considerably, (maybe see if the mobo will nick 2 sticks of 1GB.) I'm not to keen on HP's of olden times, too much of a propietary system. Maybe change the mobo for $50-60 bucks, and throw sum more strike in.
