How to hook up my computer to my plasma tv?
Answer:
rightclick on your desktop and go to properties>settings and enable dual screens.
play with ur display settings on ur comp
Try S video. It worked for my plasma.
The only way i know is if your tv has an outlet on the back that will fit the same one as your computer. If it doesnt that i dont know it they make RCA adapter with competer outlets!
You can use an S-Video or a USB if your Tv is compatible, but i thinkl the prblem is on your comp side, if your computer is a PC, you should try to look on top of the F buttons and look for two boxes.. and press fn +(the F key i belive its like F4 or F6).
Is it that cord thats blue at the ends, is kind of rectangular and has a lot of holes in it?
make sure you aren't on the wrong video channel or whatever.
...I thought the monitor plugs into the computer tho.
Apply your Plasma as the 2nd Monitor setting. in your display propertys settings tab. your computer wont send a singnal to it untill you set it up.
you need a dvi card in your computer, then you would need a HDMI to dvi cable to connect both.
Everybody else got it wrong. My uncle helped setup my Plasma TV. He said to get the HDMI to DVI cable to connect to the computer's DVI card.
