Why did my vista chalk up jump down next to highger video card?
i installed the Display adapter type NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200
I added this Dedicated graphics memory 256 MB
used to enjoy this Shared system memory 271 MB
so now i hold Total available graphics memory 527 MB and it gave me a lower win of 2.5 based on the subscore of gaming graphics.

If you have integrated graphics with smart shader 3.0 support such as a grforce 6100 or radeon x300 base graphics then tally the dedicated card be a downgrade. VISTA rates its graphics test base on smart shader support. for the best performance they recomend smart shader 3.0 wich is a direct X 9.0c characteristic. that geforce 5200 is only directX 9.0a compatible and be released with the impulsive generation shader models of direct x9. if you yearning to get a better score by a video card, procure a dedicated geforce 6 or 7 series or an ATi Radeon x1k series base cards with smart shader 3.0.
