u can buy a new hard drive at walmart. in side it will tell u how to install it.u should set it to be used as a slave. this way u can use all of the drive space just for music.hope that helps.
Removable hard drive 500 gig can be brought for around $200-250 store thousands upon thousands of songs connect by USB cable so can be moved from one computer to another the same as a memory stick only larger. Safe and convenient way of backing up all you data not just music.
There are many ways to store music on your computer. Some people tend to just put their music into the "My Music" folder of their computers, but if worse comes to worse and you are forced to reformat your hard dirve, all your songs are gone. I find the most effiecient way to save music is to have it on a seperate partition or in a another hard drive, whether external or internal, but as long as it is saved away from the main boot partition (usually the "C:" drive).
you don't need more memory, you need a larger hard drive space. I have a maxtor external hard drive and as of today I have over 5,000 songs stored in it. It is a 80 GB and I paid $99.00 for it at wal-mart in Oklahoma.
