Can I download photoshop elements 5.0 on an external hard drive instead of my desktop computer?

jibuz idiots answering today, your confusing ram with diskspace
you need 1.5 gb space on your disk
the stick you installed is ram
use explorer to see how much disk space you have, if its low, run the disk tidy app in start programs accessories system tools
if that doesnt clear enough and you cant delete any spacey programs, when you install the photoshop itll ask for a place to install, if your external is connected you can browse to it and install there
george is correct,hard drive space is a totally different subject to ram(memory)
you can install the program on your external drive but as soon as you run it it will be using system memory so you will be back to the initial problem
do you mean 1.5gb hard drive space or 1.5gb memory,if its hard drive space then your amswer is yes,install the program to the drive letter corisponding to the external drive,however make sure your drive is on when you run the program
the best way to look at system memory(ram)is ...this is temporary memory used only while the application or program is running
hard drive memory is permanent memory thats stored on a platter inside your hard drive and can not be erased unless specified by the user

average hard drive capacity ranges from 40gb to 750gb
