Just buy a USB extension, and a audio cable extension (3.5mm jack). They're fairly cheap, and you can pick them up in most pc stores, or just buy off ebay or amazon.

You can easily go and buy some extra cable to wire into the existing one or get a usb cable which willconnect to the existing one and into the port.
