Seagate freeagent vs western digital passport?

What hard drive should I buy? The seagate freeagent 250GB external hard drive or the western digital passport 160GB portable hard drive

Answers:
Both are 2 of the best made. I prefer seagate because they been around the longest being the first company to make hard drives for personal computers. In ur choices I like the seagate because it has more storage at 250GB and u can move it around just as well as the western mobile. But the seagate will run cooler and last u more years. I just purchased an seagate external 300GB hard drive for system backup and music storage. Good luck.
The Seagate FreeAgent. Better drive, plus Seagate is the only drive manufacturer that offers a five year warranty.
Both drives are good drives. However, I prefer the Seagate Freeagent because it comes with a power supply. This important when you use the drive with a computer that cannot provide enough power thru the USB port.

I have had several customers that could not use the WD drive for this very reason.

I use the Freeagent every day and I am very pleased with it.
