Does a external hard drive increases PC Performence ?

For Ex. Seagate FreeAgent Desktop Drive, 320GB

Answers:
depends on what u meant by 'Performence' if you're refering to the increased in cpu speed; NO!, if in storage for application & data then, YES!!
no
Most external hard drives today use USB 2.0 as the interface which is pathetically slow. If you install a SATA or SCSI card and interface a hard drive via that method, you'll get great performance.
by storing files such as music and pictures to your external drive, you free up space on the internal drive, which makes your cpu work less to find the files that require your cpu to run. instead of having to look through all the junk, it doesn't have to look very far. so, yes, it can help increase the performance of your computer.
The sole purpose of an external hard drive is to increase storage capacity on your computer. It does not affect performance.
STRICTLKY SPEAKING - NO BUT IF YOU HAVE AN ALMOST FULL INTERNAL HARD DRIVE, FREEING UP SPACE ON IT MAY IMPROVE THE PERFORMANCE OF YOUR PC SLIGHTLY AS THE SWAPFILE MAY BE BIGGER
Not really.
