I be wondering which would be the better brand Sony Lite-On or Panasonic to use as a DVD burner for my comp?
Answer:
Go to pcworld.com for their recommendation. I use the sony dru-830. I got it on the internet similar to half price compared to the store prices. Now it is number 5, but consequently I do not care for burning double section disks. Those are like $6 for one. And I do not keeping for the cd scriber, that writes on top of your disc. Otherwise my Sony may enjoy been 2 and not rate 5. And when they go for the burn write speeds. Again, you hold to watch it. Number 1 may burn or write 4 second faster than the number 10 drive. But then the number 10 drive is a course lot cheaper than number 1. You have to play around beside this. Times are really sometimes a couple of seconds and a full lot of dollars different.
Try the sony 830 cuz it is 18X with RAM. Study on the types of RAM discs and I close to them.
I think Sony and Panasonic are unadulterated good brands but i would run for SONY
I'd recommend HP. Lite-On has a shorter energy span. I don't know about Sony or Panasonic.. The 840D HP I hold is fast, reliable and not that expensive..Walmart carry them.
