1000 Base t nic card?

How do i know if i have a 1000 Base t nic card in my computer?

Answers:
As in "Gigabit Ethernet"? That's a very good question. 1000 Base T is supposed to use Category 6 cable which looks just like Cat 5 or 5e. So far I've yet to see a "universal logo" for 1000BaseT. So I'm pretty sure you can't tell from the outside.

Perhaps if you list the mainboard model #, or PC model number, we may be able to look it up some other way. Or you can try to run AIDA or Everest and similar PC hardware viewers and see what they say about your network card.
