Audio problems...?

Go into your bios("delete" upon startup) and make sure onboard sound is disabled if youre using a sound card instead. You dont need to install onboard sound drivers if youre using a sound card. Looks like you may be accessing your onboard sound GUI and trying to get your speakers working which isn't going to happen if they are hooked up to a PCI sound card. Look at the sound card in the control panel and make sure drivers are installed. Windows Updates may see your sound card and give you drivers for it, just be sure your onboard sound is disabled so it doesn't want to give you drivers for it.
I'm confused. You have sound on the motherboard -and- a sound card? If that's the case you can only use one or the other. If you are using the soundcard, you need to go to your SETUP menu and disable the motherboard sound hardware. Otherwise the drivers fight with each other.
if your sure you have the right sound drivers and i kinda doubt, then run the sound trouble shooter in control panel, it may give you a clue.
