Harddisk installing?

Hi, i wanted to install another 40gb harddisk into my computer which is currently running on 80gb of harddisk, is it possible for me to use 2 harddisks? and how do i install that? (i am a computer nerd so please tell me website that can show me pictures...) you can also send me pictures on how to install it.

Answers:
just connect the new hard drive with the old one using the same IDE cable, make your Old hard drive as master and the new hard drive as slave, u do that by changing the master/slave selector on each hard drive. no drivers required

eazy
i would sugest a new sata hard disk
you just buy it and plug it into an empty slot and plug the power cables
http://www.pcmech.com/article/installing...

it'll take all of 5 minutes.. if its IDE make sure the new drive has a setting for SLAVE set, on the jumpers at the back

if its SATA you just plug the cables in..

you can't really mess up as they make the cables only go in one way to stop people putting them in the wrong way..

for ide , just add it to the exsist drive cable. the end of the cable being on the new drive

if u have a cd/dvd drive.. move that to another IDE cable.
you can just use a IDE bus cable which may be in seperate in your cabinet & connects your old harddisk & cdrom. simple if stuck just email me
