Will nvidia release geforce 9000series in winter?

i have plan to buy a new computer with nvidia`s 8800GTX video card in this month
but i heard that nvidia will release 9000series in winter. this is true? should i just wait for 9000series that will possibly make price drop of 8800series? or just buy as the plan?

Answers:
Michael Hara, NVIDIA VP. of Investor Relations, stated in May on an analyst call that it will launch in November 2007.

Other items of interest:

*The 9800 GTX will be capable of nearly 1 trillion floating point calculations per second, or 1 teraFLOPs and have 1MB of GDDR4 memory.

*The GeForce 9800 GTX will be twice as fast as the GeForce 8800 Ultra in real world games and applcations.

*The 65nm process will allow for better yields and better power consumption. The power consumption will be lower than that of a GeForce 8800 GTX.

*The price for the GeForce 9800 GTX will be $549-$649 USD, and the price for the GeForce 9800 GTS will be $399-$449 USD.

The expected prices are just above where the 8800 Series are now, so if the info is true, you can be sure you'll see significant price drops in the 8800 series.
