Sis graphics card?

well done kimberly on locating your graphics card,however heres the bad news,the sis 965 may not be good enough to run "sims 2" as its not one of the best graphics card.however the driver dosent seem to be avalible on the sis download site
you can find the sis download center at http://www.sis.com/download/,however... i would double check the name of your graphics device and then go to the sis download center
you may still find though that the current graphics chip is not powerful enough to run sims2,but a compatible pci-express graphics card that will run sims2 wont cost you the world,the 256MB Asus 7300GS (http://www.scan.co.uk/products/productin... a fully capable graphics card with some excellent specs including
550mhz core clock speed and pixel and shader model 3.0,with thses type of specifications this will easily play sims2,probally on high settings

It might mean you need a directx 9.0c compliant graphics chipset which the SIS may not be as they were always 'cheap & cheerful' graphics rather than intended for games.

I'd say goto silicon integrated systems, and download their driver updater, and it will scan your system for SiS hardware, and allocate the correct / latest drivers for it.
It might then work.
Oh, and SiS grapics are usually 'integrated graphics' solutions.
You might want to think about adding a decent graphics card if you want to start playing games. As many computer users do not play games, integrated graphic solutions are just meant as a 'get you running' option. So there it is, invest a little money (or a lot if you really like games), and get a nice graphics card.
