on my last question i asked about my mouse people are saying check the batteries it is a microsoft black wireless optical mouse that runs on a usb port i cant find a battery slot please help where is it

Answers:
1. Pick up mouse.
2. Turn mouse over.
3. Identify slot.
4. Open slot.
5. Replace batteries.
6. Close slot.
7. Turn mouse right way up.
8. Reconnect to receiver.

It's not a rechargeable mouse, is it? Are there two metal contacts underneath that sit on the USB stand thingummy? Maybe you do not need to open it...
The batteries are on the underside of the MOUSE, not the USB receiver part.
don't know what the first question was,try a different mouse make shure the optical mouse is not faulty.
On the underside of the MOUSE there is a little flap with a clip. Under the flap are two AA batteries, use Duracell or similar replacements. There are no batteries in the transmitter, it is powered from the USB port.
Look In The Instruction Booklet Its Bound To Show Where The Battery Slot Is
if its connected directly to usb with cable it does not need batteries.
however some mice are rechargable..is urs.
do u have a recharge caddie.
if its not rechargable then it takes batteries(rechargable batteries reccomended).
just look around mouse there will be a battery cover there if its not rechargable .I'd love to know the model number
