i got a new case and now i have to connect the front panel usb, mic and audio to the motherboard , i dont know how because i dont have no instructions ,and i tried to find a manual or something for my motherboard but i can`t find nothing, i have a optiplex 170l , its a p4. 2.8 . can anyone help me ,please with how to connect the them cables to the motherboard, please
Answer:
you need to find out the manufacturer of the motherboard. It is usually printed on the board between the PCI slots. Find this, and the model number, then you should be able to find the specs, drivers, etc. You may also try Dell, look up your optiplex #, and see what you can find there, but I usually don't find m/b info on the mfr site
