Third-Party Graphics Card?

How do I know if I have a third-party graphics card or not? I want to install the latest version of my graphic cards (82945G Chipset Family/Intel), but I don't know if the latest update will harm my cpu, since I don't know if I meet the requirements.

If you are just updating the driver for your graphics card then go ahead and do it if the system won't boot then turn it off by holding in the power switch for 5 seconds and then turn it back on tapping f8 over and over and select last known good configuration. Good Luck HTH.
You wont harm your computer by downloading drivers. The drivers will simply not work if they're not compatiable. Best thing to do is go ahead and download your drivers that you're looking to get. But, create a restore point before you install. this way, if something does happen.. You can log into windows in safe-mode and undo the changes if need be.
