Why my bluetooth does not work on my PC, see details!?

After i instqlled blutooth on my pc it ask me to reboot so i do it, when the pc turn on again it ask me to insert a bluetooth device, i do it but a window pop out and it says it does not rcognise this USB. the thing is that i can plug any other USB in this slot! Why dont thre bluettoth Work? Tnx in advance!

Answers:
Uninstall all your bluetooth stuff. Restart your PC. Install again - BEFORE you plug the device in. Restart again, and then plug the bluetooth in.

Sometimes you have to install the s/w before you plug the device in, and other times you have to plug the device in first, and then install the software.

Try the first way, if no success, then uninstall and try it the other way!

Try inserting into a different USB port.
re-install the bloototh cd software and try again, good luck
What Operating system are you using? Do you have the latest drivers for your Bluetooth that will work on that system? Is the Bluetooth on the HCL list if you are using a Windows system?

also get the latest drivers.
Did you install the driver as well? If so, try re-installing again. Its possible you have a bad unit, it might not hur to get it exchanged. A technition really needs to see it to tell you, it can be compatibilty issues, a bad unit, bad slot, bad driver its very hard to guess.
usually in my laptop, the bluetooth automatically opens. But since yours did not... Try to right click your bluetooth icon and click open your bluetooth device. it will be open then click the explore my bluetooth places...
