I just reinstalled Windows XP on my COmpaq presario 2100 laptop but I am having trouble because the graphics card is not installed and I do not know how to install it without knowing what it is and Windows does not detect any. I know that there is a graphics card in my laptop because I used it before, I just don't know what its called so I can't get the drivers to reinstall it. Please help.

I've found your graphics card:
ATI Radeon 340M graphics adapter
It's from the CNET review site.
As for the driver, I've been looking all over online for it but I can't find it. Google "Radeon 340M driver" and see what you can find.
try running Msinfo32.exe from the run... in your startbar.
Or try looking at it physically to see if there is a sticker or model number printed anywhere on it - there usually is. Even if you dont have the makers name you should be able to google the model number and have it pop right up.
Theres a high chance it is what your man above me is saying but it depends on if you customised it or anything. Wont hurt to get the ATi Catalyst driver anyway.
