How DVD writer is connected?

External DVD writers are usually connected VIA usb. Some may be firewire.
Internal DVD writers are connect over IDE/ATA or SCSI. I've even so to see one that utilizes SATA.
In the new systems everything is color coated, completely very effortless! Make sure you are not going to break any warranties if you friendly your tower!
Depends on your writer, some plug into the USB, others to your Firewire, I have see others connect to the printer port!!
